Millbridge Court wedding photography – I always love photographing weddings at Millbridge Court, so I was very happy to be back there for Abbie and Joe’s wedding. It’s one of my favourite Surrey wedding venues, and it has just had a huge makeover too, having been totally redecorated at the start of the year. It looks amazing! It’s so stylish and chic, and there are loads of lovely spaces and little details that work really well for a wedding.
The staff are a huge part of why I love photographing weddings there (Hi Charlotte & Shelby & team!). They’re genuinely a delight to work with and everything just seems to run smoothly, without the couple or guests having to worry about what’s happening behind the scenes. It makes such a difference to the atmosphere of a wedding day.
Abbie and Joe are an absolutely lovely pair. They’re a really fun couple and they were surrounded by a bunch of lovely, kind, fun and incredibly relaxed folk. It made my job very easy because the whole day had such a nice atmosphere.
We were also treated to pretty much perfect weather. After all the really hot weather we’d had, it was lovely to have a cooler day with a mixture of sunshine and a few picturesque fluffy clouds. Much more comfortable for everyone, and brilliant for photos too.
The ceremony took place outside at Millbridge Court and was conducted by celebrant Verity. It was really personal and felt very much like it was about Abbie and Joe rather than being a standard ceremony. I love outdoor ceremonies at Millbridge because the gardens and surrounding countryside make such a lovely backdrop, and this one suited them perfectly.
Their gorgeous baby Max was there too and was super cute and impeccably behaved. There were lots of lovely personal touches throughout the day. One of the bridesmaids had made the wedding cake, which I thought was such a lovely thing to do, and there was plenty of good food and drink thanks to Kalm Kitchen. And then there was the dancing. So much dancing!
All in all, it was a really lovely wedding. A gorgeous couple, their very cute baby, a brilliant group of people, a beautiful venue, perfect weather and a dancefloor that definitely got its money’s worth.
I couldn’t have asked for a nicer day to be back at Millbridge Court. Congratulations again Abbie & Joe!
