Sam and Sarah tied the knot at Micklefield Hall and it was a beautiful day. The weather forecast was a little iffy but the rain held off meaning they were able to hold their ceremony outside, which was lovely! There are various outdoor ceremony spots at Micklefield Hall, and Sam and Sarah opted to have their ceremony by the temple. I’ve photographed weddings at a multitude of different wedding venues and Micklefield Hall is by far the most beautiful spot for an outdoor ceremony that I can think of!
The speeches and food were fabulous and then it was time to party! I loved the first dance – I think it might have been the first first dance that I’ve seen where the bride and groom whipped out their air guitars! Guests always take the lead from the newlyweds, and the dancefloor was absolutely packed when I left.
There was a great team of suppliers – obviously they picked a fab wedding photographer (!), and they used Andrew Fleming for the flowers (who is amazing), and Kalm Kitchen for the food (always yummy). I loved Sarah’s off the shoulder wedding dress (with a wonderful huge bow at the back), but I didn’t catch the name of the designer.
Huge congratulations on your beautiful wedding, wishing you every happiness in your future together!
