Voco Thames Wedding Photography – it was a real pleasure to photograph Emma and George’s spring wedding at Voco Thames. The Voco Thames is a lovely hotel situated just outside Oxford, right on the Thames. This was the first wedding I’ve photographed there and it was a fabulous day.
Emma and George are an absolutely gorgeous couple, really the nicest people you could hope to meet. They tied the knot outside, right by the Thames. The weather was very kind to us, especially considering it was April. So lucky – I love an outdoor wedding! After the ceremony and an excellent confetti walk guests had drinks and played garden games outside whilst the newlyweds and I took a few photos. It was then time to eat and I loved the enthusiastic napkin swinging of the guests as Emma and George made their entrance.
The food was delicious, the speeches excellent and every single guest seemed a delight – so many lovely, friendly people in one room! This stems, I’m sure, from the fact that Emma and George are so utterly lovely. They seem so happy together, I’m so glad they found each other! Huge congratulations!
