2025 – Best Wedding Photography! Once again it’s taken me so many hours to produce this annual wedding photography round up from last year. I delivered over 40,000 photos so there has been a lot of photos to go through, and I’ve loved reliving all the gorgeous wedding days. 2025 was an amazing year, full of laughter, joy, golden light, and countless moments that I feel so lucky to have captured. Every wedding I photographed was a true privilege – from the small, intimate ceremonies to the huge, raucous celebrations – and I’ve felt honoured to witness these joyous days.
I loved returning to lots of favourite venues (Hi Micklefield Hall, Millbridge Court and Wotton House!) and discovering some fabulous new venues (Cissbury Barns, how have I not visited before?!). I photographed the weddings of bridesmaids and groomsmen of past couples, and even had my first repeat wedding customer! One highlight was photographing Zoe and James’ wedding. Zoe is the last of a set of 4 cousins whose weddings I’ve photographed and I loved seeing all my past couples (and their kids!) at the wedding. I think I’ve seen her aunt more often that I’ve seen my own aunt over the past couple of years!
Some other little moments that particularly stood out:
- The trees (cherry trees maybe?!) in the courtyard of Micklefield Hall being ABSOLUTELY laden with blossom for Callie and Will’s wedding, and the wind making it fall like confetti during their first look.
- Louise’s tears as she emerged from Royal Holloway chapel, having just married Andy, and saw her horse (he had been brought to greet her as a surprise!). She made me laugh noting that she cried when she saw her horse but not her husband to be!
- A perfect rainbow appearing over the boats at Master Builder’s House for Nick and Cordy’s wedding.
- Alisha and her bridesmaids rolling with laughter after trying out the viral Tiktok ‘galloping’ photo.
- Another first – at South Farm I got to photograph a bride and groom (lovely Charlotte and Scott) with piglets! So cute!
- Alex’s incredible black wedding dress – love love love!
- I loved photographing Natalie and Owen’s wedding, partly because they are super fun (and super glam!) but also because it featured not one but two cathedrals (Portsmouth and Winchester)!
- Photographing a wedding reception in my local pub (The Beehive, Englefield Green), and one in the village I grew up in (Chawton House).
It’s these little moments, and a million more, that make me love this job so much. Being welcomed into families and friendships, and being trusted to capture these stories, is something I truly adore. I’d also like to add a huge thank you to the excellent suppliers I worked with – not only do you make the days run smoothly for my couples, your friendship and camaraderie makes it a pleasure to go to work.
Thank you so much to all the couples who invited me to share in your day. It’s been an absolute honour to photograph your weddings and celebrate your love. Here’s to more magical moments and beautiful photography in 2026!
