This was my third wedding in three days at Micklefield Hall. I’m so lucky to work there regularly. It’s a stunning venue near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire, with a perfect mix of elegant gardens, a temple by a pond for ceremonies, and beautiful reception spaces that just seem to suit every kind of celebration.
This time it was Precious and Sean’s big day – and what a day it was. Both come from huge families, so there was no shortage of love, energy, laughter (and dancing!) throughout. Precious is one of the warmest, happiest, most loving people you’ll ever meet – she just radiates joy. Sean is wonderful, always ready with a smile or laugh, and the way he looks at Precious tells you everything you need to know about how much he adores her. Together, they are such a brilliant match.
The day itself was a feast for the senses. Kalm Kitchen worked their magic with the catering (they always do). A really lovely touch was live illustrations by Woo Illustrations – guests were blown away by them, and they made such unique keepsakes. Precious looked absolutely beautiful – her hair was styled perfectly, and her make-up was lovingly done by her very talented niece, which made it all the more personal.
It was an incredible day full of emotion, laughter and joy. Precious and Sean, it was such a privilege to capture it all for you, thank you.
