Tash & Ben’s Gloriously Sunny Jewish Wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall
Oh my goodness, where do I start with this one?! Tash and Ben’s wedding at the beautiful Parklands, Quendon Hall in Essex was just such a joy to photograph – one of those days where I drove home with a big silly grin on my face (and a slightly sunburnt neck… note to self: reapply suncream!). Quendon Hall is a gorgeous 17th‑century Georgian manor nestled within around 100 acres of deer park and landscaped gardens in north Essex.
Tash and Ben had their Jewish wedding ceremony under a beautifully decorated Chuppah in the pretty Quendon Hall gardens. The view from the gardens was insane – beautiful rolling deer park and masses of lavender. The deer even decided to put on a show at just the right moment, dashing across the park right as the ceremony finished!
Tash looked absolutely radiant (and cool as a cucumber, HOW?!) in her dreamy dress from What Alice Wore, and Ben was looking super sharp in his Stag London suit. But what really made the day was how happy and relaxed they both were – they beamed at each other all day long. And honestly, that’s all I ever need for gorgeous photos – happy people having the best day.
The Chuppah was beautifully styled by the incredibly talented Flowers by Alina, and the whole thing felt intimate and special and full of love. After the drinks reception the celebrations continued inside the marquee with loads of very energetic Israeli dancing (always the BEST dancing to photograph!), and a brilliant performance from the amazing Total Recall, who had the dance floor absolutely buzzing.
It was such a treat to work with the lovely Toastmaster Jango again – he’s always a calm, reassuring presence while keeping everything running smoothly (and with lots of laughter thrown in!).
We were treated to a totally dreamy golden hour and, of course, we made the most of it! Tash and Ben snuck away for some relaxed portraits as the sun set over the grounds. That soft glowy light plus two joyful newlyweds? Wedding photographer heaven.
There were so many lovely little touches – live music from Popup Piano, vintage-style lawn games from Drives of Yesteryear, and a super cute sweet cart from Wild About Events. Guests were also treated to a photobooth from Occasions Booth, which was a hit.
It was an absolute blast from start to finish. Tash and Ben – thank you so much for having me. You two were a dream and your wedding was as joyful and brilliant as you are.
Here’s to a lifetime of laughter, sunsets, and chair-lifting dance moves!
Big love,
Sarah x
