Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer – Spring weddings always have a special kind of magic, and Callie and Will’s day was no exception — it was an absolute dream from start to finish! Set against the stunning backdrop of Micklefield Hall (a perfect exclusive use wedding venue in Hertfordshire), this wedding had it all: blossom trees in full bloom, joyful guests, and the loveliest couple you could hope to photograph. Oh, and a beautiful sunset to top it all off!
The day began at Micklefield Hall, where Callie and Will got ready (separately!). I always love the buzz of anticipation on a wedding morning, and it was fab to see both sides of the excitement as they prepared for the day ahead. Before heading off for the ceremony, Callie and Will shared a “first look” on the terrace – such a beautiful way to ease the nerves and soak in a lovely moment together before the celebrations began.
From there, it was a short drive to Christ Church in Chorleywood for the ceremony. The church was filled with love (and a few happy tears!), and Callie looked breathtaking as she walked down the aisle. After the ‘I dos’, a few family photos and a bit of confetti, it was back to Micklefield Hall for the reception (and more confetti!).
And wow — what a reception it was! The grounds were in full spring bloom. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the terrace before heading into the barn for the wedding breakfast. There food was delicious, the speeches funny and there was plenty of dancing as the evening kicked off.
Callie and Will, thank you for letting me be part of your beautiful day. It was a true celebration of love and an absolute joy to capture!
