I am very happy to share with you some photos from my last wedding of the year, a beautiful winter wedding at Micklefield Hall. As regular blog readers will know, Micklefield Hall is a stunning luxury wedding venue in Hertfordshire and is one of my favourite wedding venues. I shoot a lot of weddings at Micklefield Hall all year round and it is beautiful whatever the season.
The weather for S&H’s wedding was pretty good for December meaning we could take photographs in the very pretty grounds. The newlyweds are a delightful couple, so relaxed and happy and fun. This is, in my view, the secret for fabulous wedding photographs – just relaxing and having and awesome time (and picking the right wedding photographer of course!).
I loved the mini Jewish wedding ceremony (after a lovely ceremony conducted by the registrar) plus the Israeli dancing. Israeli dancing always provides some fabulous photo opportunities, and it is great to capture at Micklefield Hall because there is a mezzanine level above the dance floor, which means a better view plus less chance of getting my toes squished!
