Bury Court wedding photography – It was such a joy to be back photographing a wedding at the Barn at Bury Court! Bury Court is a beautiful exclusive use wedding venue near Farnham, on the Surrey/Hampshire border. It is very dear to me as I got married there more years ago than I care to count! It changed hands in 2020 and the family in charge now have given it the most fabulous makeover. It was gorgeous before and it’s absolutely stunning now – the styling is wonderful.
Ant and Alex were the most fabulous bride and groom – so relaxed and happy, which perfectly set the scene for a divine sunny spring wedding. Their ceremony was outside, and I absolutely loved Ant’s reaction as he set eyes on his beautiful bride (check out the photos below). The registrar led a particularly heartfelt ceremony, and the bride and groom grinned throughout!
After the ceremony it was time for drinks and delicious canapes (courtesy of the wonderful Jacaranda) in the gardens. This was followed by the wedding breakfast, complete with excellent speeches. The weather was glorious so guests enjoyed garden games outside before the first dance. The Tommy Guns Band performed and were excellent – the dancefloor was absolutely rammed!
