The Farmhouse at Redcoats Wedding Photography – Wow, this was an absolutely epic wedding! Georgina and Tom got married at St Albans Cathedral (yes, an actual cathedral!), followed by a wonderful reception at the Farmhouse at Redcoats in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and it was the best day!
I arrived at Georgina’s parents’ home to a house full of excited people. I could tell instantly the wedding was going to be a lot of fun. Georgina is a police officer and her wedding cars were vintage police cars (complete with siren), which was absolutely awesome!
Georgina and Tom’s wedding ceremony was at St Albans Cathedral (who knew that you could get married in a cathedral without being famous?! Not me!). St Albans cathedral is gigantic and gorgeous but the ceremony still managed to be intimate and romantic. I was very grateful to have Jesse second shooting with me so we could get great shots from the front and the back of the ceremony (thanks Jess!).
After the wedding ceremony Georgina and Tom drove off (in the police car, siren blaring!). Their wedding reception was in the barns at Redcoats and it was lovely. The staff at Redcoats are fabulous, the barn is beautiful and the food is delicious. Georgina and Tom were an amazing bride and groom – they were just so full of joy and fun. I loved so many moments of the day, particularly having fun (and getting a bit damp) with some champagne spray photos and watching Georgina living her best life on the dance floor! I spent my whole drive home grinning – what an amazing job I have!
