Hertfordshire wedding photographer – I’m happy to share some photographs from Beccs and Chris’ stunning spring wedding at Micklefield Hall. Yes, eager blog readers (both of you!), my last 5 weddings have all been at Micklefield Hall but I promise – I do photograph weddings at other Hertfordshre wedding venues…and wedding venues throughout the south of England!
It’s been a pretty rainy May and this day was no exception. However, it didn’t matter in the slightest – Beccs and Chris were so happy to be getting married that their joy radiated through the whole wedding, and everyone had an incredible time. They are a fabulous couple with really friendly family and friends – I was made to feel very welcome.
There are plenty of wet weather photography options at Micklefield Hall. We took the group photos and lots of couple photos in the cute area by the fireplace, plus under the flower arch (by magnificent florist Andrew Fleming). We were even able to do a confetti run – Micklefield Hall staff helped by providing lots of umbrellas for the guests to use and Beccs and Chris just made a dash for it! Happily the rain let off in the early evening, meaning we were able to get a few bride and groom photos down by the pond.
