Micklefield Hall Wedding Photography -This was such a fun wedding! Lucy and Ru got married at the end of August in Micklefield Hall, which is a stunning luxury wedding venue just outside London, near Watford. I am lucky enough to work there a lot (in fact, this was the last of 3 weddings there in a row for me!) and I love it. It’s the perfect backdrop for wedding photography, as well as being run by the nicest bunch of people you could hope to meet.
The weather was kind and Lucy and Ru got married outside in the most picture perfect setting. The whole wedding was a joy, partly because they didn’t stop laughing all day….hopefully you’ll see some of the joy in the photos below. They looked so happy all day, which makes my job really easy!
Ru is Scottish (hence his full name Ruaraidh…his Dad did apologise for giving him ‘a name like a bad scrabble hand’ in his speech, which made me giggle) and I loved all the Scottish touches. Bagpipes and lots of handsome men in kilts – what’s not to love?! We were treated to some gorgeous evening sun which was the perfect backdrop for some golden hour couple photographs.
