Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer – This was such a beautiful wedding at the stunning Hertfordshire wedding venue Micklefield Hall. It’s a luxury exclusive use venue near Watford (therefore very handy for London) and it’s hands down my favourite wedding venue. As well as being beautiful (and the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs) the staff are really lovely and the service is top notch (and the food is incredible!).
Carly and Matt are an amazing couple. They both seemed a little nervous before the wedding ceremony but when they saw each other for the first time they both had huge grins and it just looked like they’d come home. They are very loved up, which is, of course, a dream for a wedding photographer! Their wedding day started off a little rainy, meaning they had their ceremony inside rather than outside by the pond. However, we were very lucky and there was plenty of time when it was dry meaning straight after the ceremony we could do a confetti walk down the beautiful herbaceous border. We then got to take lots of photographs down by the pond.
The whole day was full of lots of love. Carly’s from a big family (she’s one of 6!) and Carly and Matt have 4 little boys together (not shown on the blog for privacy reasons). There were lots of nieces and nephews running around and it was lovely to see how close both families were. Everyone was very kind to me – thank you for being so welcoming!
