Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer – wow, I’ve had a busy weekend. In a first for me I had 3 weddings in a row, all at the same venue…and what a venue it is! Micklefield Hall is an absolutely stunning luxury wedding venue in Hertfordshire. I work there regularly so have extolled it’s virtues a lot on other blog posts, so I’ll just say that it’s beautiful and the staff are the nicest people you can hope to meet.
Jas and James got married on an absolutely perfect spring day at the end of March. It was unseasonably warm and sunny, and the grounds were bursting with daffodils and blossom. I LOVE spring so might be biased but really think it’s the perfect time to get married – such a hopeful, joyful time!
Jas and James had a gorgeous civil ceremony outside by the pond but I love how they also brought in Indian traditions to the day. Jas wore the most beautiful lehenga and the day started with a Milni ceremony, where the two families came together and exchanged garlands. After the drinks reception they had an awesome entrance to their wedding breakfast dancing to a Dohl drummer.
Jas and James’ wedding was such a lovely day. Shout outs to Make up by Leena for fab make up and to Nina and the gang at Ragasaan for the absolutely delicious (and plentiful!) food.
Huge congratulations to Jas and James (and little Serena of course!), here’s to a lifetime of happiness together.
