Buckinghamshire Engagement Photographer – 2021 has been absolutely bonkers. After a terrible start because of covid, and lots of rearranged weddings, the last half of the year has been crazily busy. I’ve photographed more weddings than I normally photograph in a year in just over 4 months! I did some engagement photography for the very lovely Abby and Toby back in May but it feels like it was about 3 years ago! I didn’t get a chance to share any of the photographs from the session then because I was so busy with preparing for the hectic season but weddings have finally quietened down so I’m delighted to be able to share some of these photographs now.
I loved this session! I work with Abby – she’s an event manager at Micklefield Hall, so the closest I have to a colleague in this funny old job that I have. Incredibly, I was lucky enough to photograph 14 Micklefield Hall weddings this year (and I’ve got over 20 booked in there next year) so I’ve luckily got to work with Abby a lot. Abby (and Lauren, whose Black Park Engagement Shoot I’ve also just shared) always look after me so well when we work together. She is totally gorgeous, as is Toby, of course. Although I’d been warned that Toby doesn’t love having his photograph taken, him and Abby are so cute together that we had a brilliant time (and he didn’t hate the shoot – hoorah!). We were so lucky with the weather – the forecast wasn’t great, but we got a window of lovely weather, and it only started pouring with rain when we’d got what we needed. Phew!
