Micklefield Hall Wedding Photographs – Nicole and Glenn are the most gorgeous couple, inside and out. They got sooo close to getting married in 2020, but unfortunately, in a story as old as time (well, under 2 years, but what a long 18 months it’s been!), they had to postpone their wedding because of covid. Their autumn wedding couldn’t have been more perfect though – it was, of course, very much worth the wait!
Nicole got ready in the Micklefield Hall bridal room, where I joined her and her bridal party for a few ‘getting ready’ photographs. They then hopped in some beautiful vintage cars (must pay attention to details like what cars they were!), whilst I hopped in my nearly vintage Ford Focus, and we travelled to the church. Nicole and Glenn tied the knot in the very pretty St Lawrence Church in Bovingdon. It was a really lovely service – the vicar (hi Charles) was super relaxed and friendly, and I particularly enjoyed the hymns (and excellent bridesmaid clapping!).
After the ceremony (and confetti and hugging!) it was back to Micklefield Hall for the wedding reception. This was the perfect wedding venue for the happy couple as Glenn had proposed to Nicole down by the pond (what a special engagement spot!). There was a lot of champagne, amazing food, funny speeches and excellent dancing. Perfect!
