Hertfordshire wedding photographer – I’m really happy to share photographs of Maya and Jack’s gorgeous Micklefield Hall wedding. Like so many other couples this year, they had to put up with a lot of stress and rearrangements before the day, but once the big day finally arrived it was absolutely incredible!
I was really impressed at how calm and relaxed Maya was when I first came to take photographs of her and her bridesmaids in the beautiful bridal prep room at Micklefield Hall. She was ready nice and early – I love a prompt bride! She looked absolutely stunning.
The great thing about a bride and groom both getting ready at the same place is that it means I’m easily able to pop and take some photographs of the groom getting ready as well as the bride. I enjoyed taking photographs of Jack and his groomsmen putting on their button holes (after I’d given them a little lesson – as well as taking photographs I often get involved in little things like this too…I do have to remind myself I’m not actually a bridesmaid sometimes!).
Maya and Jack’s wedding ceremony was in the beautiful temple by the pond at Micklefield Hall. It was a lovely personal service and their siblings did some beautiful readings.
We took lots of family photos by the pond during the drinks reception, whilst the guests enjoyed drinks and delicious canapes, then went into the barn for the wedding reception.
The wonderful food was by Kalm Kitchen and The Function Band wowed the guests with incredible music throughout the meal and beyond!
