Dorney Court Wedding Photography – My heart just swells with joy looking at these photographs and remembering what an absolute humdinger of a perfect wedding this was! I walked away feeling like I was part of the family – everyone was just so delightful and happy and gorgeous. Thank you! We were so so lucky with the weather – it was a perfect autumnal day, unseasonably warm for October, with that gorgeous, low, warm light that you only get at this time of year. Tom and Ally (with the help of a green fingered mum and an amazing florist!) had decorated Dorney Court with hundreds of pumpkins – in fact, there were more pumpkins than guests at the wedding, a fact I learnt during a hilarious game of ‘heads or tails’ (no coins involved) during the best men’s speech.
Ally got ready (with her super lovely bridesmaids) at her parents’ house in Sunningdale, followed by one of my highlights of the year – Ally leading her wedding party down the middle of the road to the village church, Holy Trinity. The Reverend was relaxed and friendly, and the service was beautiful. After some triumphant confetti it was off to Dorney Court. Dorney Court is a new favourite wedding venue – it is stunning, and great for photography. It’s just outside Eton/Windsor (and therefore just down the road from me!). I’d therefore assumed it was in Berkshire but google tells me it’s in Buckinghamshire. The catering and event management was by Absolute Taste, who did a fabulous job – huge thanks to Izzy and the team for looking after me so well! The florist was amaaaazing but I’ve forgotten her details (again!) – please remind me and I’ll add them!
Tom and Ally, huge congratulations – you guys are wonderful, and your wedding was perfection!
Love Sarah xx
