Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer – Oh my goodness – this was such a stunning wedding! The reception took place in the absolutely beautiful family home of the bride in a little village in Hertfordshire called Chipperfield. Alice got ready here too, and it was such a joy of a location for bridal preparation because of all the natural light – heaven! Her and her father drove off down the road in a vintage car to St Paul’s, Chipperfield’s local church. As soon as I saw the lovely Reverend (Michele du Saire) I remembered her from another Hertfordshire wedding I photographed last year at Holy Cross church in Sarratt – it’s always nice to come across familiar faces at a wedding. The ceremony was perfect (and it was nice to see the Reverend on the dancefloor at the end of the night!).
The newlyweds drove back to Alice’s parents’ home in the car, and it was on to the reception. The garden was looking breathtaking, and the marquee was absolutely stunning (beautiful flowers by Andrew Fleming, who I often work with at Micklefield Hall weddings). But best of all, of course, was the bride and groom, who are just so lovely and kind and smiley and in love!
