Wimbledon Family Photography – Esme and Louie

I think this must be my quickest ever blog!  This morning I popped down the road to Wimbledon Park to photograph a lovely family (friends of a family I photographed last year…always nice to get work from a personal recommendation!).  Here’s a sneak peek of some of the photographs from the session… Love Sarah xx Sarah Legge Photography – Wandsworth family and wedding photographer taking natural, beautiful photographs of happy people

Surrey Wedding Photographer – Kirstie & Benji’s super fun wedding

Fajhitas, cadillacs and a bouncy castle – I just LOVE this wedding (and this couple)! Kirstie and Benji got married at St John the Baptist church in Bisley (Surrey), followed by a reception down the road at Deepcut Barracks….and it was a brilliant wedding!  The ceremony was lovely – big shout out to the awesome vicar (who later I photographed bouncing on a bouncy castle and playing table football…apparently he can swallow fire too, but I didn’t witness this!).  The newlyweds drove off in a 50s cadillac – what a cool wedding car! The wedding reception was in the Officer’s Mess

Surrey Wedding Photographer – Olga & Gav’s Old Thorns Wedding

A Russian/Scottish Old Thorns Wedding – I’m in my 7th year of photographing Surrey weddings (I photograph weddings in lots of other places, but boy do I photograph a lot of lovely Surrey weddings!) and until last week I still hadn’t got to do any photography at Cowdray ruins, which are famously fabulous for wedding photographs.  So, when Olga mentioned that her and Gav were going to stop by the Cowdray Ruins for some photographs between their wedding ceremony and their reception at Old Thorns country estate I was very excited.  However, this being an August wedding in the UK,

Balham Family Photography – meeting Ella’s brother Harry

I photographed Ella a few years ago when she was a baby so I was very happy when her parents asked me back to photograph the family – along with Harry, their new(ish!) arrival.  They are a particularly great family so it was very nice to see them again.  Guys – I hope you like the photographs!  I have to say, I’m very pleased with them – the combination of that room with lots of natural light, and your perfectly behaved children made my job very easy! Love Sarah xx Sarah Legge Photography – beautiful, natural family photography in Wandsworth, Earlsfield, Balham

Wandsworth (and Outer Hebrides!) Family Photography – Ottilie and parents

I mainly do my family photography in Wandsworth, but occasionally I travel for family shoots (I shoot weddings all over the south, so try and keep my family shoots local!).  Half of this family shoot was done 200 metres from my house – the rest was definitely my most remote photography shoot ever…it was in the Outer Hebrides, on North Uist.  Now, I’m not actually branching out to try and corner the Hebridean island family photography market – we were on holiday with this lovely family and Emma’s father asked me to do a family shoot whilst we were there.

Wandsworth Common Family Photography – Henry and Beatrice

This lovely family (who I had the pleasure of photographing a couple of years back) are leaving Earlsfield for a new life in the countryside.  They asked me to capture some last London memories for them on Wandsworth Common, where they’ve spent many a happy hour.  I was, of course, delighted to accept and the shoot was a pleasure.  Bea and Henry were being particularly sweet with each other – it did make me a bit sad that my boys were never quite as friendly to each other!  It was lovely to see you guys again and good luck on the

Surrey Wedding Photography – Amy & James’ Gate Street Barn wedding

Gate Street Barn wedding photography – Amy and James got married at the beautiful Surrey wedding barn Gate Street Barn at the start of August.  I photographed my very first wedding at Gate Street Barn way back in 2009 so I’ve always had a soft spot for it.  I’ve photographed so many weddings there over the years that it almost feels like coming home!  The staff are brilliant (lovely to see Lisa again…and Jane off duty in her cycling kit!) and always make sure the wedding runs like clockwork.  I knew from my brief chats with Amy and James that they were lovely

Surrey Wedding Photographer – a horseback bride!

About a month ago I photographed a beautiful, intimate Surrey wedding. The bride and groom are private people so don’t want a full blog post but I begged them to let me put up a couple of photographs, because the wedding had a very exciting (for me!) extra touch…the bride brought her horse along and we managed to get a bit of a bridal/equestrian photoshoot going on during the wedding reception! In one of the first weddings I photographed the bride arrived on horseback (to Grittenham Barn, one of my favourite Sussex wedding barns). I still show a little album

Dorset Wedding Photography – Jenny & Sam’s Kingston Country Courtyard Wedding

Err wow, another stunning wedding…not sure where to begin?! At the beginning, I guess!  Jenny saw me photograph her friend’s wedding and liked what she saw (hoorah – always a nice compliment!) so asked me to photograph her big day.  She told me she was marrying Sam in Kingston Country Courtyard…I live just down the road from Kingston (Surrey) so thought it was a nice local wedding.  Turns out it’s in Dorset, near Corfe Castle.  This is further than I normally travel for weddings but she sounded so nice (and I’m rubbish at saying no) that I happily accepted her

Sussex Wedding Photographer – Ellie & Matt’s stunning Bartholomew Barn wedding

Bartholomew Barn wedding photography – Wow – what an absolutely stunning wedding!  Now, I know I love every wedding I photograph (and just like my children, I can’t possibly have favourite weddings), but I must say that I particularly loved this Bartholomew Barn wedding!  Firstly, the barn is a really beautiful wedding venue – it’s set in the middle of nowhere….well, not totally (it’s near Kirdford and nearish Petworth), but it is set in the midst of rolling fields.  This is great from a wedding photography point of view because it means that there are stunning vistas in every direction, which is very
