A London Wedding Photographer’s Best 2015 Wedding Photographs

A London Wedding Photographer’s best 2015 photographs – I’ve taken my time over pulling together this review of my favourite photographs of 2015. I have to admit that this is in part because I’ve been busy over-indulging over Christmas (oops!), and getting hooked on some Netflix box sets (I now have a Scandal and Making a Murderer shaped hole in my life). It was also partly deliberate – whilst I’m in the brief wedding photography ‘low season’ I now get (I’m sure it used to be 6 months!) it’s actually really useful to take some time to slowly look over

Botley’s Mansion Wedding Photography – Louise and Richard

Botley’s Mansion Wedding Photography – I’m just rushing off to the countryside for the weekend (hooray!) so I’ve no time to write much about Richard and Louise’s stunning Botley’s Mansion wedding. I’ll come back and write more but for now I’ll let the photos speak for themselves – as you can see, it was a beautiful day full of love and a lot of laughter. Here’s to many more years of the same – congratulations guys. Love Sarah x Sarah Legge Photography – award winning Surrey wedding photographer taking stunning, natural wedding photographs in Surrey, London, Hampshire and beyond

Twickenham Family Photographer – the Leopolds

This lovely family are part of an NCT group that seems to be providing me a lot of work at the moment (thanks guys!). I drove out to their home near Twickenham on a sunny morning and was delighted when I walked through to their back garden and saw a stunning cherry tree laden down with blossom. Heavenly! I love spring (although we seem to have reverted to winter now…ho hum, it was nice whilst it lasted). The shoot was great and their children were brilliant. Love Sarah xx Sarah Legge Photography –

Twickenham Family Photographer – a return visit

Over five years ago I photographed the lovely wedding of Krista and Dan (including their reception at the Ham polo club, which made a fab wedding venue). Then, after the birth of their first son I popped down to their home in St Margarets to take some newborn photographs. Fast forward a couple more years and the family has grown further – they now have three gorgeous little boys! They asked me to do another family photography session and I was only too pleased to oblige.  Lovely to see you all again guys! Love Sarah x Sarah Legge Photography – London wedding and

London Events Photography – an 18th birthday party at Bodo’s Schloss

I don’t do a lot of events photography (bit busy with all my lovely weddings!) but when my very (very very) beautiful cousin Bea asked me to photograph her 18th birthday party I was delighted to accept (in the full knowledge that it would make me feel v old and unglamorous!). The party was at very trendy (I didn’t know this, but I asked someone cool and they informed me that it is trendy) bar/restaurant Bodo’s Schloss, in Kensington. It was a really lovely occasion (with very delicious food) and Bea and her friends were all looking particularly stunning. And

Gate Street Barn Wedding Photography – Amy & Tom’s big day

Gate Street Barn wedding photography – I have a soft spot for Gate Street Barn, which is a beautiful wedding barn tucked just outside Bramley (near Guildford) in the Surrey Hills. It’s where I shot my first wedding a hundred or so years ago, and them putting me on their recommended supplier list was a brilliant help for me to break into the wedding industry. I’m also fond of it because one of their regular caterers is Kalm Kitchen who are the most talented and lovely bunch you could hope to work with (and Amy and Tom chose them – yay!).

London Wedding Photographer – Beth & James’ Brixton East wedding

London wedding photographer – I started the day of Beth and James’ wedding by joining Beth and her attendants in her and James’ Clapham flat. After getting over my major flat envy (it’s GORGEOUS!) I was warmly welcomed and encouraged to eat a brownie. I knew it was going to be a good day! I took lots of photographs of the mothers of the bride and the groom in very snazzy dressing gowns, but I’m not posting those…I’m never sure who’s happy for others to see them in their dressing gowns! After lots of photos of everyone getting ready I

Savile Club Wedding Photography – Claire & Chris’ beautiful London wedding

Savile Club Wedding Photography – I LOVE the Savile club – it’s one of my favourite London wedding venues. You’ll be able to work out pretty quickly from these photographs why I love it so – huge windows, beautiful decor and a staircase to die for! This was a really lovely wedding, and I knew it was going to be great as soon as I arrived and witnessed all the warmth and laughter in the room as Claire got ready. I popped along Brook Street to the Iron Duke pub where Chris and his wedding party were having a drink

Hampshire Wedding Photographer – Catherine & Ben’s Rhinefield House Hotel wedding

Hampshire wedding photographer – After a long winter with lots of lovely but chilly weddings, I was so excited as I drove through the New Forest (Hampshire) to Rhinefield House Hotel for Catherine and Ben’s spring wedding. The sun was shining, and I knew I was heading to a beautiful venue, plus I knew Cat and Ben were going to be a lovely and relaxed bride and groom. The first person I met when I got to the preparation room was Matilda, Cat and Ben’s beautiful baby daughter. She flashed a smile at me and I knew immediately she was going

London Wedding Photography – Courtney & Qasim

London wedding photographer – Courtney and Qasim’s wedding was held at the Hotel Russell, in central London. They have a gorgeous daughter and are about to move overseas and this wonderful wedding ceremony was a great opportunity for them to say goodbye to everyone before they left! The day went very smoothly, and despite the chill in the air, Courtney and Qasim were still happy to pop outside to Russell Square for some photographs outside, which always makes me happy. The meal was a delicious Indian banquet which they invited me to share – this made me even more happy! Apologies for

Leeds Castle Wedding Photography – Ed & Hannah’s stunning wedding

Leeds Castle Wedding Photography – Leeds Castle is pretty famous in wedding photography circles as a particularly stunning venue, but I had never been there until Ed and Hannah’s wonderful wedding. For those who don’t know, Leeds Castle isn’t, as you might think, in Yorkshire – it’s actually in Kent. Go figure. It’s marketing materials call it ‘The loveliest castle in the world’ and although I haven’t done a comprehensive worldwide castle survey, I certainly haven’t been to a more lovely castle, so they might well be right. The part of the castle where weddings are held has been beautifully
