Micklefield Hall Wedding Photography – I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for so long! Partly because I have a bit of a weird thing for names. I love a name that is a noun (sorry to digress, but I went from a Rose to a Leg(ge) when I got married which was a bit of a downgrade, sorry lovely in-laws!). So when I discovered that lovely Kate Blacker was marrying Matt Berry I forever badged them as the blackberries in my mind….and I knew that a couple with such a cute blended couple name must be super sweet! Apologies if this is revealing something weird about myself, but at this stage in a busy season it’s time for some weirdness to come out!
Anyhoo, the other reason I was looking forward to this wedding was that I knew that Kate and Matt were really lovely people, and were planning the most beautiful day. And, of course, it turned out to be a truly stunning wedding. Despite it being the end of September the English weather played ball (hoorah, thanks weather!) and they were able to tie the knot by the pond which is a really stupendously beautiful place to get married. We were even treated to a bit of beautiful pink sky and some spooky mist just before sunset.
