Autumn Wedding at Micklefield Hall – This was SUCH a stunning wedding! It was held at the start of October. Remarkably it was incredibly sunny and mid 20s which (in my book) is absolutely perfect weather! I love autumn (and spring) weddings because if you’re lucky enough to get a sunny day then the sun is lower in the sky than summer weddings and so softer and more flattering. It’s almost like ‘golden hour’ all day!
Hayley and Jono chose Micklefield Hall for their wedding, which regular blog readers (if there are any of you!) will know is my favourite wedding venue. It’s situated in Sarratt, a village in Hertfordshire near Rickmansworth and Watford. It’s within the M25 (just!) but feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, and the staff are absolutely divine. Oh and, as you’ll see from the photographs, it’s really beautiful, indoors and out. There are so many options for beautiful wedding photography.
Hayley and Jono are a wonderful couple who are clearly smitten. Their wedding day was beautiful – so much love and laughter. They’ve got very warm families and loads of friends which is always a very good start for a fabulous wedding!
Huge congratulations on your marriage Hayley and Jono – wishing you decades more of happiness together!
Big shout out to the fab team of suppliers on the day, a very lovely bunch of people!
