This was my second wedding in two days at Micklefield Hall and it was a really special day. Andrew and Robyn are a super lovely and laidback couple and this shone through in their happy, relaxed wedding.
Andrew and Robyn wanted an outdoor wedding, tying the knot in the beautiful temple by the pond. The weather in the morning was a bit changeable (oh hi England, thanks for making outdoor weddings tricky!) and a lot of wedding venues would have insisted on holding the ceremony inside. However, the lovely Micklefield staff are very flexible, and bend over backwards to try and give their couples the wedding of their dreams. They set up for an indoor ceremony and outdoor ceremony meaning they could make the decision at the very last minute. There was a light drizzle at one point and the registrar was very close to saying the ceremony needed to be inside…but the rain passed and the ceremony could be outside by the pond. Hoorah! I love the look on Andrew’s face as he saw his bride for the first time, and the ceremony was fabulous. In fact, the whole wedding was fabulous! These are some of the suppliers who helped on the day:
