Dorney Court Wedding Photography – I’m delighted to share these photographs from Charlotte and Alex’s absolutely stunning marquee wedding at Dorney Court.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dorney Court. It’s a beautiful Tudor manor house dating from 1440 (yes, I had to look that up!) owned and run by the very lovely Palmer family. It’s in the pretty village of Dorney, just outside Eton (less than 20 mins from my home – hoorah!). It is used a lot as a film and TV location (I spotted it in Bridgerton recently!) and it is also a brilliant country house wedding venue.
Charlotte got ready at her family home, just moments away from Dorney Court. She then married Alex in a beautiful ceremony at St James the Less church, which is right next to Dorney Court. The vicar was really smiley and lovely and let me sit in a prime spot behind her to get lots of great photos of Charlotte and Alex during the ceremony.
After the ceremony there was a huge amount of confetti hurled at the newlyweds (which I thoroughly approve of!), followed by a drinks reception on the lawns. The wedding breakfast was in a gorgeous marquee, followed by a lot of very enthusiastic dancing to the brilliant rock and roll band, the Boulevards.
Ooh, and I must give a mention to some great suppliers. Penelope Hunter Flowers did an incredible job with the flowers, the catering was by Carte Blanche catering and the marquee was by Alresford Marquees. Helen Andrew was the v talented hair and make up artist.
