Windsor Guildhall Wedding Photographer – I have lived just outside Windsor for over 6 years and so I was delighted to get the opportunity to finally capture a Windsor Guildhall wedding! Windsor Guildhall is a historic Grade 1 listed building in the centre of Windsor (a stone’s throw from Windsor castle), and it was built in 1687. It was where Sir Elton John married David Furnish, as well as hosting (then) Prince Charles and Camilla’s wedding.
Sarah and Dan had the most tiny of micro weddings and it was a total joy! Their only guests were their little boys, who looked incredibly cute in their suits. Sarah and Dan had also scrubbed up very nicely – they looked stunning, and so happy.
After the lovely ceremony we had time to take some photographs in the ceremony room, and outside in the covered area (which used to be a Corn Exchange apparently…yes, I have been Wikipedia-ing!). We then took a few bride and groom portraits on the cobbled streets around the Guildhall. Sarah did very well – cobbled streets are not very high-heel friendly!
I absolutely loved this wedding and felt very lucky to be able to share it with them. Huge thanks to Tania and the rest of the Guildhall staff for making us feel so welcome.
