Micklefield Hall Wedding Photography – Oh my, oh my, what a wedding! I’ve been looking forward to this wedding from the second it was in the diary. Abby is one of the amazing event managers at Micklefield Hall (which is a stunning wedding venue that has been my second home this summer). I have watched her run a million weddings in her lovely, smiley way and it was a total joy to see her celebrate her wedding to gorgeous Toby. They are such a special couple and I loved every moment of their big day.
Abby and Toby had a small covid wedding (remember those?!) last year but this was an amazing opportunity for them to celebrate their wedding with a beautiful ceremony (lead by celebrant Bernadette French). The weather was perfect – a gorgeous sunny October day. I love autumn weddings – if it’s sunny then the light is so soft and beautiful.
Abby had an amazing team of bridesmaids – very supportive and very up for photographs, which is just what a like in a bunch of bridesmaids! Jango, my favourite toastmaster, looked after everyone on the day, plus of course the fabulous team at Micklefield Hall.
There were too many awesome things about the wedding to gush about them all (plus I’m in a rush to go and catch a flight!), but a highlight for me was the surprise Abby set up for Toby. She hired some arcade games to set up a little games room. The guests had so much fun plus it was great for competitive bride and groom photo opportunities!
