Surrey Wedding Photographer – This summer I’m going to start quite a lot of wedding blog posts like this…but Bonnie and Luke waited a LONG time for their wedding! It was my second big wedding since more people have been allowed at weddings and I loved every minute!
Bonnie and Luke chose Gate Street Barn for their wedding. Gate Street Barn is a wonderful exclusive use wedding venue in Surrey, near Guildford. It is very close to my heart as it is where I shot my first wedding as Sarah Legge Photography!
Bonnie got ready with her bridesmaids and the mums in the bridal room, whilst Luke got ready in the awesome recently refurbished Old Dairy. One of the things I love about Gate Street is how they’re constantly improving what they can offer to their clients. It has changed so much since I first visited in 2009.
The ceremony was beautifully conducted by a particularly smiley registrar, with a fabulous reading by two bridesmaids. After the ceremony, Bonnie, Luke and I popped outside for some couple photographs whilst the guests got ready to enthusiastically hurl confetti at the happy couple.
After the delicious wedding breakfast (with incredible duck with the crispiest, yummiest skin ever!), Karizma band entertained the guests. Despite the ongoing restrictions they did a fantastic job at keeping everyone very happy!
Big thanks to Rebecca for second shooting for me, and really great to work with awesome husband and wife videographer team W4 wedding films again. The delicious food was by lovely Tandem Catering and Bonnie’s dress was by Maggie Sottero. And great to see Gate Street’s very own India again!
Huge congratulations Bonnie & Luke! Thanks for choosing me to capture your wedding.
