Hampshire Wedding Photographer – I first met Hannah, today’s beautiful bride, 5 years ago when I photographed her brother’s wedding up in Suffolk. The whole family is lovely and I was delighted when Hannah asked me to photograph her wedding to Keith. When I learnt that we went to the same Oxford college (Wadham) I was even more certain that I would love the day! And boy was I right!
Hannah and Keith tied the knot at Careys Manor. Careys Manor is a beautiful manor house hotel (and wedding venue!) in the New Forest in Hampshire, near Brockenhurst. The staff were very attentive and helped all the guests have a wonderful day. We were very lucky with the weather – it had barely stopped raining all week, and the forecast was not good. However, we had a little window with no rain right after the ceremony. This meant we could have some confetti outside, which is always fun (and a great photo opportunity!). We also popped a couple of minutes down the road to some classic New Forest countryside. We didn’t meet any ponies but it was lovely – it’s such a beautiful part of the world.
My favourite part of the wedding was the speeches – it was really beautiful hearing the touching story of how Hannah and Keith fell in love. It came as a surprise to them both, and it is a really romantic story.
Shout out to Owen at Little Lillies – he created the absolutely stunning floral arrangements.
Huge congratulations to the lovely bride and groom – here’s wishing you every happiness for your married life together.
