Micklefield Hall Wedding Photography – I don’t really keep it a secret, but in case you’re new here – I LOVE Micklefield Hall. I am lucky enough to be recommended by them (thank you!!) so I work at Micklefield a lot, and every wedding there is a incredible. The venue is beautiful (with various gorgeous options for where to actually tie the knot – this year I’ve photographed weddings by the pond, on the lawn and in the barn), and the staff are absolutely delightful. The caterers are Kalm Kitchen, who are culinary and styling geniuses (or is that genii?!).
The weather wasn’t as sunny as it has been this summer, but it was actually really comfortable, perfect for guests to enjoy the outdoor wedding ceremony by the pond without being too sweltering! The registrars were particularly nice and guided Rowena and Chris to stand facing out towards their guests for a lot of the ceremony. As well as obviously making it easier for me to photograph, it’s lovely when guests can see the bride and groom’s faces as they tie the knot! After the ceremony there was lots and lots of incredible rainbow confetti – possibly the best confetti walk I’ve seen! The drinks reception and meal were as perfect as you’d expect, and the speeches were brilliant.
