Gate Street Barn Wedding Photography – Gate Street Barn is a gorgeous Surrey wedding venue. I have a soft spot for it as it is where I photographed my first wedding over 9 years ago. It was a delight to be back for Debbie and Tristan’s big day. The barn has done some major building works recently and it was lovely to see all the improvements in action.
Debbie is a photographer, so it was of course a big honour to be asked to photograph her wedding…if not a little nervewracking! She successfully managed to resist the urge to pick up her camera, which I know from experience can be hard on your wedding day! It was a beautiful wedding with lots of lovely touches. One that I particularly liked was the fact that Debbie and Tristan’s running club buddies all brought cakes and they had a mini Great British Bake Off competition. The guests were very very happy to act as judges and to sample so much delicious cake!
Oh and if you’re D&T’s friends or family and you’re wondering where baby J is in the photos, I was asked to keep pics of him offline…it’s not that I’ve forgotten about him, honest!
