Botleys Mansion Wedding Photography – Here are some photos from Antonia and Darren’s beautiful Botleys Mansion wedding. I had initially written that I was just going to put the photos up and write more tomorrow as I need to be getting to bed (last wedding of 2017 tomorrow!)….but I started writing about how great Antonia and Darren are, then about their fun wedding ceremony…then I realised this blog post had pretty much written itself!
You should be able to see from the photographs quite how fun this Botleys wedding day was, and how gorgeous Antonia and Darren are, both inside and out. They are totally in love and it is beautiful to see. They are also tremendous hosts and really know how to throw a party! The happy couple met whilst walking their dogs so it was fitting that their dogs played a part in their wedding day – they were the ring bearers, which was brilliant. Halfway through the wedding ceremony, when the (very lovely) Reverend asked the best man for the rings he patted his pocket then dashed out – he’d forgotten the rings! Luckily the couple’s dogs were able to save the day – this film was played in church before the gorgeous pups sprinted down the aisle with the rings. The look on the congregation’s faces was brilliant!
After the ceremony the guests got back on a lovely vintage London bus to drive back to the Botleys Mansion. After the drinks reception they went down into the beautiful wedding breakfast room, where each guest had been given a mask to wear. These masks, plus awesome tricks from a brilliant magician called Ben Williams were fab little extra touches.
Huge thanks to the talented Martin Hobby who came along as my second shooter and a little shout out to my new not-related-to-but-sounds-like-it buddy Catherine Legg who did a fab job with Antonia and the bridesmaids’ make up. The toastmaster was Paul Deacon.
