Morden Hall wedding photography – Annie and Seán got married at the gorgeous Morden Hall on a mild autumn day that treated us to dry weather against all expectations. The forecast had been wall-to-wall rain, but the clouds behaved and we were able to get outside to make the most of the colours and grounds. Morden Hall is a beautiful Georgian-era country house in South London, set within National Trust grounds. It used to be a private estate and still has the feeling of peaceful seclusion despite being so close to the city.
Their ceremony was incredibly personal and special. It was conducted by one of Seán’s brothers, who absolutely smashed it. Lovely words, lovely delivery, and a really meaningful moment for everyone. Straight afterwards, Annie and Seán popped off for a tiny legal ceremony with just their mums as witnesses while the rest of the gang kicked off drinks and canapés.
The food was by Kalm Kitchen, who I always adore working with. Everything looked and tasted fantastic. The speeches were genuinely brilliant – heartfelt and hilarious in equal measure – and it was one of those days where every guest felt warm, chatty and up for fun. I’m convinced the fact that a lot of the guests were Irish helped!
The tables had mini Lego sets and Trivial Pursuit cards which added such a great social touch. Guests were building little models, quizzing each other and generally vibing straight away. Annie and Seán themselves were an absolute dream, totally relaxed and happy to try fun photo ideas. I enjoyed every minute from start to finish.
Huge congratulations to this wonderful pair. Wishing you both a lifetime of joy and adventures ahead.
