Micklefield Hall Wedding Photography – What a glorious wedding! Hava and Dale got married in Micklefield Hall in May and it was perfect. Micklefield Hall is a stunning luxury country house wedding venue in Hertfordshire, near Rickmansworth. People who know me know that Micklefield is my absolute fave wedding venue, and I’m lucky to return many times a year. As well as being beautiful the staff are incredible – super lovely, and incredibly well organised!
Hava and Dale didn’t stop grinning all day once they saw each other in their ceremony. They held their wedding ceremony indoors in the Great Barn. Their civil ceremony was followed by a Jewish blessing lead by the bride’s brothers, which was very touching.
We were lucky with the weather (despite the inclement forecast) and were able to go outside after the ceremony for confetti and drinks. Drinks were on the courtyard under trees which were covered in spectacular blossom. The blossom was washed away by wind and rain the following day, so we were very lucky to have such a beautiful sight for this special day!
The newlyweds entered their wedding breakfast to uproarious applause and cheers from their guests, and went straight into a very lively Israeli dancing set, chairs and all. I love Israeli dancing – such amazing photo opportunities, and always brings so much energy to the room!
The speeches and toasts were very beautiful. I particularly liked the groom’s mother’s speech, where she talked about Hava bringing the light back into Dale’s eyes – absolutely beautiful, and I know I wasn’t the only one in the audience moved to tears!
