Royal Berkshire Hotel Wedding Photography – Lucy and Ben’s wedding was one of the most lovely, relaxed weddings I’ve been to. Despite a few hiccups in the week of the wedding they were both chilled and happy, and an absolute joy to photograph!
I’ve been particularly looking forward to this wedding because of the location. I’ve lived in Englefield Green (a village on the edge of Surrey, right by the border with Berkshire) for over 5 years now but hadn’t yet photographed an Englefield Green wedding. That has now changed, as Lucy and Ben held their wedding in the Catholic Church in the village – Our Lady of the Assumption Church. It’s a beautiful church, and spacious and light which always makes my job easier!
After the lovely wedding ceremony (well, actually it was a wedding blessing as the happy couple tied the knot in a teeny covid wedding last year) Lucy and Ben drove off to the Royal Berkshire Hotel for their wedding reception and breakfast.
The guests enjoyed drinks outside in the beautiful grounds of the hotel. Some even fitted in a game of frisbee – who knew that there was such a thing as frisbee goals?! This was followed by some excellent speeches, delicious food and very enthusiastic dancing. What more could you want?! What a perfect day!
