Marylebone Town Hall wedding photography – Oh, I just love a midweek London wedding – especially when it’s as joyful and full of love as Virginie and Steven’s special day!
This was a beautifully intimate wedding – just 14 guests in total, all immediate family, which made it feel incredibly warm and personal. Virginie and Steven’s children were there (a great excuse to miss school!) and looked absolutely adorable! I photographed Steven’s sister’s wedding a couple of years ago and it was lovely to see them again (and their new baby boy!).
The morning started at the Park Plaza Hotel near Westminster. I joined them once everyone was ready and looking fabulous. After 5 minutes of photos outside it was time to hop into a fleet of classic black London cabs – such a brilliant touch for a central London wedding!
We made our way to the wonderful Old Marylebone Town Hall, and I have to say – it was so lovely to be back! It’s one of my favourite London venues – not just for the lovely ceremony rooms and brilliant registrars, but also for those gorgeous steps outside. They really are a dream for photos.
The ceremony was sweet and full of smiles, with lots of love in the room (and maybe a happy tear or two!). Afterwards, we had a bit of a confetti moment outside and then did some relaxed couple and family portraits on the steps – with a good amount of laughter and hugging in between. Virginie looked absolutely stunning, and Steven scrubbed up rather well too!
All in all, it was the perfect London micro-wedding – elegant, relaxed, and full of love. I felt so lucky to be a part of it. Virginie and Steven – thank you for having me along to capture your day!
