Hertfordshire wedding photographer – I’m beginning to sound like a broken record…but wow, this was a beautiful Micklefield Hall wedding! Katie and Sam are the most awesome couple. I knew within minutes of speaking to them in our initial meeting that they were my kind of people and that they’d put on a fabulous wedding day!
Katie’s bridesmaids wore sequinned jumpsuits and looked incredible walking down the long herbaceous border that serves as an aisle at Micklefield Hall. Katie, of course, looked amazing too, in a stunning dress with a lovely long train. I think I might have spied tears from both Katie and Sam as they met at the temple by the pond at the start of their wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony it was time for the drinks reception, with added entertainment – portable crazy golf from Pure Mini Golf. Pretty much everyone got involved and it was a lot of fun. The bride’s team managed to win by a substantial margin, but there are rumours of some fraudulent amendments of the chalk score board!
When it was time for the delicious wedding breakfast (thanks to amazing Kalm Kitchen!) Katie and Sam were welcomed into the barn by the spectacular band Totem. This was the first time I’ve seen them perform and I’m smitten – they were mind blowing. There was some extremely energetic Israeli dancing, which is always a great opportunity for photographs.
