Micro wedding photography – Harry & Kaori’s micro wedding at Marylebone Old Town Hall was absolutely incredible! I loved every moment of the 3 hours that I spent with them. I’d photographed Harry’s mum’s wedding a few years back (here is her Ramster Hall wedding) and I knew that H&K were the most beautiful couple, inside and out. The whole family is incredibly warm and I honestly felt like part of the family by the time I left the reception.
H&K planned a London micro wedding for February, which had to be moved to May. When you see the blossom in some of the photographs I hope you agree that it turned out to be a fantastic plan!
Marylebone Old Town Hall is one of my favourite of London’s many registry offices. The staff were really friendly and the whole ceremony was beautiful. Harry and Kaori just looked delighted to be marrying each other, it was such a pleasure to watch! They emerged to the traditional cloud of confetti on the famous steps and then we took a few family photographs.
Regents Park looks stunning in the spring, so photographed the happy couple sauntering along the London streets on the way to the park. The trees in Regents Park were laden with blossom and formed a perfect backdrop. Lots of people we walked past offered their happy congratulations, and another photographer even asked if he could take photographs of the beautiful couple!
When we’d finished in the park we walked to the Kitchen at Holmes, a fabulous restaurant just a few moments from the Old Marylebone Town Hall. They have a beautiful private roof terrace that worked perfectly for an intimate micro wedding reception.
Huge congrats to Harry & Kaori on your absolutely incredible wedding! Thank you so much for all being so warm and welcoming (and the canapes!). Looking forward to another family event so I can hang out with you guys again!
