Millbridge Court Wedding Photography – I cannot put into words how happy I was to photograph Lucy and Pete’s wedding. When I woke up on the morning of their wedding I genuinely thought I couldn’t be any happier, even if it was my own wedding day! Covid 19 has, of course, been devastating in so many different ways to people around the world, including people planning their dream weddings.
Lucy and Pete had planned a beautiful big wedding at Millbridge Court (a stunning Surrey wedding venue near Farnham) in May 2020. That wedding wasn’t possible, so they decided to move the celebration to September. Regulations meant that they couldn’t have more than 30 people at their wedding, but there couldn’t have been more joy and love in the room if they’d had 1000 people. There are huge benefits of intimate weddings, and I know all the guests felt very honoured to be part of the day.
Lucy and her bridesmaids started getting ready just down the road from Millbridge at the Mandarin Hall. We then popped up to the gorgeous bridal suite for the finishing touches. The ceremony was lovely, and was followed by drinks and canapes in the garden. We were very lucky with the weather, as often seems to be the case in September! The whole day was so fun and I absolutely loved it. Huge thanks to Lucy and Pete for making me feel so welcome.
The caterer at Millbridge Court (as well as lots of other venues and private events) is my absolute favourite, Kalm Kitchen, so the food was delicious (and beautifully styled). Shout out also to lovely Sarah Elizabeth Abbott for the hair and make up, Stems of London for the beautiful flowers, Wedding Frox for Lucy’s gorgeous dress and Creative Spark for the lighting. Huge thanks to the wonderful Millbridge Court staff who kept us all happy and safe in the warmest and friendliest way.
