Surrey Wedding Photographer – The Barn at Bury Court is a beautiful wedding barn with stunning gardens, just outside Bentley, near Farnham in Surrey. I’m happy to be one of their recommended wedding photographers, so I’m lucky enough to visit regularly – in fact this wedding is the first of three weddings I get to photograph there in consecutive weekends! Each time I visit I’m struck by what a beautiful part of the world it is, particularly at this time of year. The barn is nestled amongst lots of bright yellow rapeseed fields, which really are breathtaking.
It was a delight to photograph Chrissy and Dan’s gorgeous wedding. It was so full of laughter – they’ve got a lot of very close friends and family, and I loved the garden games the bride and groom had laid on to entertain them. I’d never seen a giant game of outdoor Kerplunk before….although the kids managed to make up some other game involving climbing into the Kerplunk tower pretty quickly! After the meal the grown ups got in on the act, using the sticks to lay out a court and enjoying a vigorous game of dodgeball!
Big thanks to the lovely Nigel at caterers extraordinaire Jacaranda catering for looking after me so well. That tomato tart was mind blowing! Yummy!
