Gate Street Barn Wedding Photography – I’ve had a lot of beautiful weddings this year (last week’s Farbridge wedding was a stunner for example!) but what I haven’t had is any sunny weddings…so I was absolutely delighted (and slightly surprised!) to photograph not one, but two sunny weddings over the first May bank holiday weekend. Sun on a bank holiday in England – what’s going on?!
I’ve been photographing Gate Street Barn weddings for 9 years, and this was the first wedding I’d photographed there since their huge building project. They’ve added two gorgeous glass sections, which are great spaces, and have added loads of light to the barn (and more light is what I’m always after!).
Hilary and Neill had commissioned an engagement shoot in Bushy Park (and the Albany pub!) a month or so ago, and I had been looking forward to their wedding because I knew it was going to be a fun one (and, on a shallow note, because they are GORGEOUS!). The wedding didn’t disappoint – it was filled with laughter and tears and love. Thank you for including me in your big day…and Hilary, thanks for teaching me the Four Pint Carry!
