Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer – Here are some photographs of Emily and Jan’s beautiful Micklefield Hall wedding. Readers of the blog will know that Micklefield Hall is one of my favourite wedding venues – I absolutely love it!
One of the most awesome things about the wedding venue is the beautiful lake area where lots of couples choose to get married. Emily had absolutely set her heart of getting married by the lake. Sadly, 30 minutes before the ceremony was due to start, it was pouring with rain, so Emily was a bit disappointed (but managed to hide it very well!) when it was decided that the ceremony would need to be inside (in the lovely wedding barn). However – 10 minutes later the clouds had cleared, and the decision was made to switch back to outside – hoorah! Some venues make you decide hours before the ceremony whether it will be inside, but the lovely staff at Micklefield Hall are happy to set up both options, so the decision can be made at the last minute.
The ceremony was beautiful, with several lovely readings, and the sun shone brightly as the newlyweds walked back down the long grass aisle through a shower of confetti. The whole day was full of love and laughter – perfect. Congratulations again Emily and Jan!
