Old Luxters Barn Wedding Photography – Lucy and Steve are a lovely, happy and laidback couple, and their wedding was all of these things. They have very sweet 5 year old twin daughters and I’ll say up front that I’m sorry if the girls feature in too many photos…but aren’t they just the cutest things?!
I joined Lucy and the girls as they got ready at the Compleat Angler in Marlow (SUCH a pretty town!), and immediately felt at ease – the vibe was impressively relaxed (something which isn’t normally the case when the bride has little children!). We then drove over the Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire border into Oxfordshire to Old Luxters Barn, which is a beautiful 18th century barn wedding venue just outside Hambleden. It’s part of a vineyard, which obviously gave us some great photo opportunities! There were lots of children at the wedding and they were entertained by brilliant staff from’The Little Top‘ – they provided the most wonderful wedding childcare and entertainment I’ve even seen (including THE most incredible balloon artist!). I don’t think I heard a single child cry – amazing (I wonder if they’ll come and live with me for a bit?!).
