Surrey Wedding Photographer – Wow! Now this was a beautiful wedding! Sarah and Stuart got married in All Saints Church, the sweet church in Tilford (near Farnham, Surrey) a few moments down the road from Sarah’s family’s farm. To get there from the farm you wander over the river and turn left at the cricket green just before the village pub…and yes, it all is as picturesque as it sounds! After the personal ceremony (the vicar is a family friend) the couple were greeted by a lot of enthusiastic confetti throwing. The guests then walked back to the farm for the wedding reception, whilst Stuart drove Sarah off in their mini for a little country drive. Time for a little plug – Stuart runs ‘Mini bean coffee‘. The gorgeous mini is available for hire for weddings, festivals and corporate events, serving delicious coffee and ice cream straight from the mini! (Oh and he didn’t ask me to write that, I promise!)
OK, back on track to the wedding – whilst the guests were enjoying their drinks in the garden the peace was disturbed as Sarah and Stuart arrived in the mini, tooting away and driving straight through the garden to park next to the bridal suite…a very smart looking tent at the top of the camping field! It was a great sight. Sarah’s horse was waiting for them and he (or she…I’m not very good with animals!) behaved beautifully whilst I stole a few photographs.
After the reception drinks it was off to a very beautiful barn on the farm for the wedding breakfast….which was pie and mash – YUM! The barn was looking absolutely stunning – the flowers were by another family friend, a very talented florist (Helen from Lane House Flowers). The speeches were particularly amusing, and the dancing was very lively. All in all it was an absolutely wonderful day. Congratulations Sarah and Stuart, and thank you to your families for making me feel so welcome.
