Great Fosters wedding photography – Ed and Ellie asked me to photograph their wedding last year, when I was still living in Wandsworth. Fast forward a year and I’ve just moved to Englefield Green (a Surrey village just outside Egham), 2 miles down the road from their wedding venue, Great Fosters, so my ‘commute’ was easy peasy!
Great Fosters is a stunning country house hotel (built in 1550 as a hunting lodge apparently!), and it makes a beautiful wedding venue. Ed and Ellie got married in early April and were blessed with incredible weather – it was really warm, with lovely soft sunlight. I absolutely love spring – it’s my favourite time of year. All that blossom everywhere, and lengthening days – heaven!
Ellie and Ed held their wedding ceremony was in the orangery, and they didn’t stop grinning throughout! Afterwards we went out for some photographs in the gardens. The grounds of Great Fosters were looking really great on that lovely spring day.
After the drinks reception the guests sat down for a delicious wedding breakfast (the food at Great Fosters is gooood – I know that because they always look after me well too!). The speeches were particularly funny, and this was followed by some very enthusiastic dancing! Congratulations on a really gorgeous wedding, and all the best for your married life together!
