Wotton House Wedding Photography – I photographed my first Wotton House wedding at the start of the year and was instantly smitten. The main wedding suite has been recently redone so it’s fresh and modern and, best of all, has a nice carpet. That might sound like a strange thing to notice unless you’ve looked for a country house wedding venue recently – so many stunning venues are let down by ugly carpets! So, well done Wotton House on a great carpet (well, and a great venue overall – the rest of the place is pretty lovely too)!
The start of the day was a fun chaos of lots of beautiful bridesmaids (and super cute flower girls) laughing, doing their make up, laughing, getting dressed and laughing. In fact, laughter was a great theme of the day – Sadie and Sean are so much fun, and so in love that they didn’t stop grinning all day. Their families seem particularly close and the whole day was really warm. Physically warm because of the lovely September Indian Summer we’ve been enjoying, but emotionally warm too because of all the love in the room! Oh dear, I’m getting soppy in my old age (who am I kidding – I’ve been soppy since I’ve been born).
The grounds of Wotton House has some great backdrops for photography, including two…hmm…not sure what they are…structures with pillars….anyway, I’m better with pictures than I am with words so take a look and you’ll see what I mean!
Congrats Sadie and Sean on your wonderful day (and thanks for being such lovely and kind people!).
